Worked for me :) thanks
I don't know anything about that brand - model, but boy that looks like a real Christmas bargain at just $49 ($39 ?) for some Choice Cheapies…. :)
my friend got one and is very happy with it for the really low price
Yup $39….. And my birthday code was legit as it's just been my birthday!
So happy that I purchased this…… Missed out on the other one that was done through noel leeming the other day.
Looks snazzy too with the mixed colors.
Posted on OzB too now
https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/879884I love how they always stage a photo showing some kind of healthy stew packed to the top with veggies.
When we all know it's gonna be chips and sausages we fry up :)Picked up one from Sylvia Park after my online order wasn't going through, "Payment Error".
I have never used an air fryer before so have no point of reference, but for $39 (birthday discount included) worth a punt.
Some things I can comment on:
No removable oil drip tray as others may have.
The website advertises 60 min timer, it's only 30 minutes. I tried turning it more and the dial came off, easily put back though.
No different modes for eg. air fry, bake, grill, warm function.
No presets for type of food that you're cooking. The manual has a basic guide in terms of temperature and time for different foods.
The grill tray has 4 rubber grommets I presume to protect the edges from touching the inside of the food basket to prevent scratching. Fats and oil collected in this after use so be sure to remove them to clean.
Don't think the grill tray or food basket is machine washable. I think not as it says to hand wash in the manual.I cooked chicken fillet the very first day, all laid out flat on the tray in the food basket (not stacked) and they came out good.
Want to try fresh cut potato chips but not sure how this would be? My wife reckons frozen chips would be fine in there. Not sure why fresh cut chips would be a problem, but then again I don't have this model air fryer. But I do them in mine all the time and they are great. I also bought a cheap crinkle cut knife from Aliexpress to really mix it up.
Does it have a separate basket tray you can remove to clean or the pull out tray is on one and you have to wash the whole tray together?
Nope, no separate basket inside. Just a metal grill that goes on the bottom allowing a gap for air circulation. Have to wash the entire pull out tray.
The website also states "The sleek black body and stainless-steel front.."
There is no stainless steel, it's all plastic. It's a stainless steel 'look'
WELCOME10 is also working now. $10 off $50.
Picked this up today, 1st air fryer. Took four slices of Domino's pepperoni pizza out of the freezer and cooked up for 6 mins on 160. Perfection, like straight out of the pizza box day one. Happy with first meal. Chicken legs tomorrow yum yum.
Plus $10 off with code BIRTHDAY10 (unsure if targeted)
