I believe they retail for around $300 each. However, they have been heavily discounted before (MDR10RBT - $189.50 and MDRZX770BN - $149.50). Credit goes to Josh on Geekzone.

  This seems like a really good deal. $115 a piece. Any comments on sound quality? A brief look on head-fi indicates the MDR-10 is not bad but at the usual NZ price point it might not be amazing. At this price point however it sounds like a very good deal for what sound like a good set of cans.

  Owned MDR-10BT once. To be honest $115 per pair sounds about right. Can't really compete with wired cans at the same price but does offer portability.

  I have the mdr 10bt. They are good. paid 150 from memory which was in a half price sale. I'd only recommend them if wanting Bluetooth aptx. If you don't want aptx then there are better options.
