A few more exclusions that usual for an Amex offer like this.

Save the offer to your eligible Card and spend $350 or more, in one or more transactions, online or in-store at Sony by 30/06/2024 to receive one $50 credit. Limited to the first 5,000 Cards to save the offer. Exclusions apply.

• Offer only valid online and at participating in-store locations: Sony Store Christchurch and Sony Store Auckland.
• Excludes the following locations: Sony Authorized Retailers or Resellers, Camera Specialists, and Service Centres.
• Excludes payments made via phone.
• Excludes purchases of PlayStation products (PlayStation consoles, software, and accessories).
• Excludes pre-order items where the release date is after offer end date.
• Additional Cards are not eligible for this offer.
• Valid for payments made by 30/06/2024 to be eligible for offer.
• Offer is limited to one credit per Card to which the offer is saved and only spend on this Card counts towards the Offer.
• Excludes transactions where you do not spend directly with your Card to which the offer is saved, in-store at Sony or online at store.sony.co.nz. Offer valid at New Zealand locations and website only.
• Excludes transactions made through a third party establishment or payment processor.
• Credit is not redeemable for cash or other payment form.
• Credit should appear on your billing statement within 15 business days from qualifying spend but may take up to 90 days from the offer end date.
• Credit will not be applied to your Card Account if your Card has been suspended or cancelled.

  Needs to be in stock and not parallel imported though (so PBTech, NL, HN, JB, etc are all good).

  I am working out if I should upgrade to the XM5s. Price match to $468 rubber monkey, 10% off - to get it to $413, then $50 back with Amex so it's $371 and it comes free with a Bluetooth flight adapter that will come in handy. It would be the best price on the XM5 ever.

    Do it… Good upgrade from my XM3s at least.

    I'm a bit dark as this cashback offer came a couple of days after I decided to purchase the XM5s. I did get the 10% welcome offer from Sony tho, so that softened the blow a bit..
