Mitsubishi Lossnay, HRV, DVS, SmartVent, BetterVent?

Hi I'm considering installing a Mitsubishi Lossnay in a house in Ashburton and would love to hear from anyone who has experience with it.

What is the best way to find a reliable supplier and installer for Mitsubishi Lossnay? If anyone has recommendations or tips on how to go about this process, I would greatly appreciate it.

Also keen to hear your thoughts too if you have any insights on how is this compared to HRV or DVS or SmartVent or Better Vent. Thanks in advance for your help!

Is there a ventilation system suitable for landlord so that tenants won't be turning it off if they think it make the house colder?

If you want to go down a rabbit hole, there are many threads on https://www.geekzone.co.nz/ discussing these different options.

I'm in wellington and had a lossnay system installed in my new build three years ago.

Absolutely love it. The house stays fresh feeling, easy to heat and cool due to the refreshed air and it's silent. My gf and i had an indoor only cat and for that reason we didn't open any windows in about three years, and as above the house always felt wonderfully fresh all throughout the house.

I've just purchased another 3 year old build, and will be gettinga lossnay system installed.

    • Do you ever get wood smoke smell coming through with the air?

No, but I live in a new subdivision where the houses all use heatpumps so there's not really any woodburner fires near me

  • I'm weighing up options for heat recovery and ventilation too but I'll n Christchurch. Keep seeing adverts for great prices in Auckland but not much local unfortunately.
