Sorry, when did Mitre 10 start price beating online? I swear I looked last year and it wasn't th3 case… but will definitely come in handy for when they won't do specific stuff in-store.

    oh yeah! they totally didn't last year, usually i just called my local store and talk to them and the asked them o put the item aside till i came in that week
    Probably saw that The Warehouse is failing and don't want to follow
    this is great!

    Nice find. I looked not too long ago and it wasn't there. Always find it less of a hassle to price promise online rather than dealing face to face. As we know often face to face the staff member is not always proficient with their own company policies.

    It’s been available online this year.
    I mentioned it in a comment here a couple of months ago and I had seen it a few weeks prior to the comment. Definitely useful to be able to do it online.

      There’s a price match page here but it’s out of date and has a lot of ‘page not found’ errors.
      It is a wiki page though so you can edit and update if you feel so inclined.

    I tried using that, but received no response at all. The form took a few tries to be able to finally be submitted. My conclusion is it's not quite working.

    I'm sure they started earlier this year and i've already used it twice, you can choose to have the item placed in the pick up locker, super convenient.

    I have just did one, they responded within 2 hours. Gave a promocode for the particular product and have option for click and collect.

    So not a live chat agent? I dont like filling out the MightyApe form… but its still better than not having it.

      Yea, a form to fill in and a bit more info required vs MightyApe form. Need mitre10 SKU, pricing, competitor's pricing, etc. Then confirmation email and wait for the reply of approval/rejection. If approved, you get a unique promocode you enter at checkout.

    Haven't really looked through the details, but does this mean we can price match against e.g. Kogan/Dicksmith or even Aliexpress? Or is it purely price match against NZ retailers online?
