Seems to be the cheapest it's ever been.

Noel Leeming are concurrently running a GEM Visa promo ($100 gift card for every $1,000 spent - up to $1,000 gift card total), so you would receive a $200 gift card with purchase using GEM (or $300 gift card if you round the sale up to $3,000) & Fly Buys. JB-Hi-Fi is running a $200 gift card (never expires) promo with GEM Visa purchases over $1,000 and they also price match, so could be a better option for some as Noel Leeming GEM Visa promo gift cards are usually only valid for two months.

Harvey Norman also has the LG 65" G3 OLED TV on sale for $3888 - https://www.harveynorman.co.nz/tv-and-audio/televisions/lg-6….

Don't GEM Visa cards have high yearly fees and a "new account" fee?

    • +1

They sure do - $55 estb. fee & $55 annual fee (charged $27.50 half yearly).

That is one 100$ gift card gone. :(

So tempted to sell off my C1 for this.

    • Unless you’re upgrading size, don’t do it. It’s barely a noticeable upgrade.

Yeah, I thought same, I have a C1 55” and I was reading some reviews. Unless you get a really good price on your C1, the upgrade isn’t noticeably to justify the money top up.

      • You also don’t really notice the brightness under most content anyways. I have a C1 and an a95k and we bounce between both for watching our content on Netflix/disney plus/torrent content and i rarely notice any difference in the brightness despite the a95k being “way brighter”. When I initially got the TV I was playing around with the few blu ray disks I have and I could notice the difference with that content, but i can count on one hand the number of times I’ve actually watched a blu ray movie (including torrented ones…..)

  • I have a b1 55" bought 2019. Still looks great. Would this be a noticeable upgrade? More importantly how can I convince wifey!

The trick is to set all your streaming platforms to lower and lower qualities until she mentions it. You then blame the TV.

      • Genius! But she watches 80's british sit coms on you tube and the resolution of some of that is worse than lego. But yes I see where you're going. Inflict some 'deterioration' in the picture settings. Naughty.

Most efficient is to lower the wifi speed for TV. Throttle it and everything buffers, now TV is not upto the standard anymore.

          • @ace310: Alternatively just buy the new TV.
You will be sworn at, scorned and banished to the dog box. But after that’s out the way you still have the TV.

        *Insert evil laughter

    • Only difference between the C1 and B1 was lack of 120hz and gaming features. C1 was slightly brighter, but it’s just not noticeable under general use.

      If you’re not a gamer I wouldn’t upgrade.

$2875 at https://extremeappliances.co.nz/, but no gift cards.

I guess they're starting to dump them as the LG C4 was announced a couple of weeks back.

    • Price match at NL possible?

      • I would assume so. Noel Leeming seem to be doing the same GEM Visa voucher promo as well, if that matters (+ Fly Buys).

    • That is a great price - have updated the listing. Thanks.

$2875 now at Noel Leeming - was going to go in and ask to match 100% as per the earlier post above!

        thanks, have updated the post.

  • What is the cheapest way to get the LG C3 77? Or LG/Panasonic

  • Hmm, tempted by this, would be a good upgrade on my 55inch C1, and could still get a good price selling the C1 second hand.

But now looking at the Samsung S90c which also gets good reviews and has a brighter screen.

My C1 always struggles with daytime viewing because my living room has windows on 3 sides so it's always bright and I suspect the C3 would be the same.

    • Better to wait for the S95D. Looks like it’ll be better for light spaces.

      • True, but it'll be a while before that comes down to $2875, if ever. Even the S95C is $1000 more currently.

        • Yeah maybe this time next year :D

  • Any idea who is offering free/cheapest wallmount installation/delivery charges for this TV ?
