    • Cheers! Thanks!

  • Are these worth it?

I can only speak for myself but honestly I love my sodastream! I only really drink sparkling water (alot) but my partner likes the raspberry fizz and ginger beer. Stocking up when Briscoes do half price specials means gas canisters are only $20, refills $13.50 and syrups around $5, making it way more cost efficient than paying double that (obviously lol).

'Worth it' would be totally subjective imo but I vote yes!

      • sparkling water at its cheapest is 1 dollar for 1.5litre so is it still worth it, i drink 1 1.5litre sparkling water a day

    • Got one recently and yeah, it's worth it.

This basic screw in model is the most efficient and uses less gas with less waste. I had the newer flasher version where you placed the bottle and it automatically sealed and filled up but every time you released the button it would release all the gas out of the bottle so you could not do multi presses without wasting a lot of gas I went back to the old model.

    • Thanks, this is helpful! Which one is the old model? Thanks

Sodastream Jet it's the original design where the bottle skrews in.

        • Thank you. I wonder if they’re moving away from having the screw in bottle models and discontinuing them, hopefully not just yet.

    • Anyone know if the Oh Bubbles screw on 60l cannisters (Sodastream compatible) can be refilled at Briscoes?

      • I have 60l screw on Sodastream branded bottles that work perfectly fine with my Oh Bubbles machine. In fact I only have Sodastream branded bottles and no Oh Bubbles bottles.

  • I remember a long while back Briscoes used to do cheap gas refill bottles, but at some point, they stopped including them in their sales. Have they restarted doing this?

    • We got a refill in one of their recent sales on special - would say whether they are excluded or not might be sale by sale (ie check the T&C's) but they are not always excluded :)
