Just Found out about Mymart.co.nz - Scam or Valid?

Basically the title question. Was looking for some odd gadgets that would be too big and have heavy Lithium battery to be imported from US/China. Came across this mymart.co.nz and surprise2x their price also not much more expensive compared to US's and cheaper than local.

So, should i pull the trigger or avoid mymart.co.nz?

I wouldn't personally. Domain was only registered 7 months ago, and it's registered to someone in India. The address provided on the website seems to be a construction site, and the phone number is US based.

Yeah doesn't pass the sniff test. Do a google street view of their "location" 7 Queen Street, Auckland, and have a laugh…..

lol, look at the "our team" page. The wholesale manager is named John Doe, the QC manager is Jane Smith, & Bob Dylan is the senior salesman, and all the profile pics for them are stock images.

It's like an April fools joke site that someone's made.

    • this takes the cake lol

  • Check out the Terms and Conditions…

Please read these terms and conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the mymart.co.nz website (the "Website") operated by [Your Company Name]

    • Most likely a scam.

The guy probably ripped the website mymart.co.nz and modified a few CSS/HTML elements here and there. Then he registered the domain mymart.co (notice it's not the same as mymart.co.nz).

It's probably designed to catch the users of mymart.co.nz to think that mymart.co is the same site. Probably like a phishing email that redirects the victims to mymart.co. A normal user wouldn't have a keen eye to notice the different between the 2. All they'll think is that it's just MyMart.

Huh? mymart.co.nz is the fake site in question, no one mentioned mymart.co.
