In the new woolsworths everyday rewards app there is a weekly boost section.
Correct me if I'm wrong but here goes.

• Mars Bar Assorted Range is currently $2.
• Mars Bar Assorted Range has a weekly boost of 100 points.
• 100 Points is worth $0.75
• There is another weekly boost for 2x points with every spend, meaning you would get 200 points for purchasing 1 Mars brand Bar.

200 points is worth $1.50, bringing your total to $0.50 for 1 Bar.

    Pretty much, but for many people, Woolworths credit is close to cash, so not an unreasonable way to look at it.

    Whether buying a chocolate bar for any amount of money is a good idea though….

    I am new to the cheapie way..
    What is the difference between buying a Mars Bar for Woolworths points vs buying Disney+ for flybuys?

    Is it the amount? So if the Mars Bar yielded $2.01+ worth of Woolworths points, it would be a winner?

      For me it’s about buying what I need and any points are a bonus.

      I couldn’t care less about Flybuys points or Disney+ but with the current deal it’s worth it.

      • Set Flybuys to convert to Z Fuel
      • 80 FlyBuys from the deal = $0.60 cpl discount (4 FB points = 3cpl fuel)
      • $0.60 * 50L (Max redeemable) = $30.00 savings
      • $30.00 - $15 cost of subscription = $15 profit plus one month of Disney+ to watch too.

  I think the weekly boost for 2x points means that you get 4 points for spending $2, so 104 points in total for a bar, not sure 200 points.

    I skim read the Terms and it didn't see any limits, just double points.
    If you can point out the restriction that says it 's not double on all points?

      They distinguish 2 concepts: product boost offer, and spend boost offer. The 2x is for spend only.

    Yes. Exactly what I think. You don't get 2x points on the boost, only the amount you pay gets doubled.

  The boosts have always been rubbish, because they simply feature items that are off sale.

  What’s this “hit boost and shop the offer to collect your bonus’s points” business?

  Under the old app it just picked up if you bought something eligible for bonus points and credited you. Does this mean you have to interact with the app each time now or you won’t get a payout? Boo if so.

    Yes exactly, most of the boost so far are not really a good deals so I just don't bother now lol
