Part of the PB Tech boxing day sale. Good TV for consoles, have the older C1 myself.

JB Hi-Fi seems to have it discounted to $1675 as well.

    Feature highlights:-
    * C3 has 4 HDMI 2.1 ports vs 2 on MZ980 - LG has QMS HDMI 2.1 feature too
    * both have same LG display OLED EX panel, main differences in picture quality will be down to processing/tuning - LG tends to be more vivd vs. Panasonic more "natural"
    * Panasonic has 1 more HDR mode, HDR10+
    * If smart TV features is your thing, LG's webOS is more mature, has better app/protocol support. Panasonic's OS is good enough though, not laggy, not too many ads

    I have the previous gen Panasonic in 65", don't use the OS, and brought it for movie watching, which it excels at, but game a little bit.

    I'd go C3 at same price for better gaming and all-around usage, since nobody should be buying this size for dedicated movie watching. I want to get one as a dedicated gaming PC monitor my own self.
