    I have one. I'm happy with it, sounds good.

    I do feel that having two channels coming out at right angles from the rear speaker is a total gimmick and these sound bars should be 5.1.4 not 7.1.4

    I think the heavier stands are better because I'm pretty sure the lighter stands would be knocked over. This seems to be the generally recommended stand on Reddit/Amazon reviews etc. The speaker cables can be run (hidden) through the stand tube and if you wanted you could probably weight them down further with some sand or gravel or weight in the lower part of the tube

    Anyone got the HW-Q800C? It's $576.95 on Samsung EPP for those who have access. Seems like a good deal when comparing to PBTech sale.

          I would be happy to help but I'm in Wellington… Also note that there are multiple different EPP sites on Samsung's website and they have different pricing.

          I was just checking it randomly as Black Friday was approaching, then compared its price on ozbargain, under $600 is just no brainer, I was initially hoping for a heavily discounted 990c.

      Awesome price, wish i had access to EPP.
      Sound quality much better than tv.
      Cant compare vs other soundbars as this is my first.
      Good level of bass.
      Not really full surround sound but it suits our purpose well for the price.
      EArc is nice to just use the 1 remote.
      Simple setup.
      Fits in seamlessly with the tv. Height level doesn't block any of the tv.

        Yeah, that first time user 10% is an added bonus. I was about to order a hard drive but it wasnt worth it for $10 off as also looking at the Bespoke Jet vac, soundbar and new TV if I can pursuade the Mrs, but not yet ready to pull the trigger so keeping that added 10% for the big purchases.

        Are you using the Govt Offers link? When i signed up a few days ago i remember it was quite buggy and i had to ‘verify’ multiple times via email before it finally let me in

        Also some items are cheaper from the normal store for example the 55” S90C is only $2649
