A product stock price doesn't necessarily link directly to the product. There are hundreds of other companies with low stock prices but good products. Likewise there are products with massively overpriced stock prices and dubious quality of goods. The stock price is affected but a huge range of external factors completely unrelated to the product. In the case of allbirds it became overvalued due largely to speculators, FOMO, and forced institution investment due to it's green credentials. But yes, in the early days it was regarded as a trendy fashion accessory which did increase the hype.
They are great shoes. I've been buying Allbirds since they launched in 2016. They're so comfortable that they're the only brand of shoe I wear now.
