Meta has officially announced the Meta Quest 3 at the Meta Connect event. Pre-orders on the new headset will include Asgard's Wrath 2 on release ($59.99 USD value).

The 128GB model is $929 and includes delivery and a 1-year warranty. This version seems to be slightly cheaper on Amazon.

For the 512GB model, this seems to be the best deal available for pre-order right now. The 512GB model costs just enough to include import fees which pushes it to around $1270-$1300 NZD when purchased elsewhere.

Meta Quest+ is a subscription model that gives 2 games per month that the user can access as long as they are subscribed. 6 months are included as a trial with the 512GB model only.

It's unclear whether this is a pre-order bonus only or a limited time offer that will go beyond release data.

    Quest started at $399 and then they increased prices later.
    I played for couple months and have been collecting dust ever since. There aren’t many good games or things to do on VR.

      I used it wirelessly to do half life alyx from the pc and that was really cool, google earth VR is one of my favourites to show people.

      But same tbh, no big reason to use it, that might change when the apple one comes out

        yea, I find its only decent if you have someone to multiplayer with.
        Been playing cornhole with the brother recently, Definitely lacking triple AAA games, but that will change in the next 5 years. It will be the future of gaming and even working eventually. Virtual offices and virtual hardware, all you need is some glasses and an internet connection.

              @Adabesi: Population one is essentially fortnight VR. Its really good. Didnt use to be free either was $30 USD before it became free 2 play (i had bought it 😭 )

              Didnt realise there would be a many people on cheapies with them, ill make some posts when i see some decent games come on super cheap or free
