• Offer only valid for payments made in-app at Waitomo locations. Prior to refuelling your vehicle, you must ensure that the location accepts in-app payments.
• You must first create an account and load your Card to the Waitomo app to make purchases.
• Excludes payments not made via the Waitomo app (including, but not limited to, payments made at outdoor payment terminals).
• Excludes gift card purchases.
• Offer is limited to one credit per Card to which the offer is saved and only spend on this Card counts towards the Offer.
• Excludes transactions where you do not spend directly with your Card to which the offer is saved, in-app at Waitomo locations. Offer valid at New Zealand app only.
• Excludes transactions made through a third party establishment or payment processor.
• Credit is not redeemable for cash or other payment form.
• Credit should appear on your billing statement within 15 business days from qualifying spend but may take up to 90 days from the offer end date.
• Credit will not be applied to your Card Account if your Card has been suspended or cancelled.
• Credit may be reversed if your qualifying purchase is refunded or cancelled.

    It doesn't look like, but you can send it to your mates. Eg just buy it in your app and send it to another phone number. It will then add to their account.

    Yes, as long as you make all your transaction within the offer period.

  Thanks, all good, some rough workings based on 91 being $2.81 litre, $100 spend equates to ~ 42c per litre off

    You can add and use your AMEX cards issued overseas, but this offer is only for AMEX cards issued in NZ.

  Tried to register my Amex cards (2 different NZ cards) to the app. Also tried registering at the station and still showing blank page after hitting register.

  So double check your app before filling up

  Little tip for everyone using this offer:

  To maximise your rewards, top up your personal waitomo account by "gifting waitomo moolah" to yourself.

  I gift my moolah to my own account in $20 increments as each top up above $20, you get a free spin on the wheel. Generally earning an extra $1-$5 per $20 i spend.

      It adds a credit to your waitomo account, similar to Z Sharetank.

    I was referring to baebae's comment above, just wondering if these gifts are counted as gift card or not. I tried doing what you described but I was only able to load up to $100 to my account in $20 increments. It says I may need to wait a few days before loading more on the app.

    Can you still get the $15 Amex credit by making 5x$20 payments (instead of one $100 payment)? And do you get a spin for buying $20 topup? I thought we only get spins for filling up (at least) $20?

      I topped up 5x$20, it did not trigger the $15 from amex, however every $20 top up did trigger a spin. Only got $2 in 5 spins.

        Hi miso. Just a thought, do you think it's because after your 5x $20 value fuel-ups, the value spent on the amex was a total of $98 with auto deduction of the $2 bonus credit?

      Yup I believe you would, the terms specify the $100 to be spent in one or more transactions.

  Hi all,

  Sorry for the confusion. I have since found out waitomo classes it as “gifting” therefore it excluded from the Amex $15 credit.

  However! If you call Amex and question as to why the credit wasn’t applied, most of the reps will place the credit onto your account as a “one time compensation”
