If you're a coffee enthusiast, this is a good starting point. Perfect for forming those micro foams in the milk to give that creamy taste and of course, good coffee extraction
Truly depends, sadly I bought one BES860 second hand, they were not honest and it actually leaks internally. Always tripping the power switch for the house. I paid $250 for that rubbish. However I did buy another 2nd hand for $300 BES870, works wonders. So, $600 for a new one is a good price, not everyone likes buying 2nd hand items (although i don't mind, but the fiance may)
IMO a coffee machine is one of the few things I would only consider buying second hand. They do depreciate very rapidly, and many of them are in quite good nick as a lot of households buy them but never use them.
