  Prices are coming down. Ps5's are getting discounted now. Should be able to pick up a 4060 for half price come black friday as I doubt many if any are gettting sold at current prices.

  Is it worth the extra $$ for the 990 pro over the 980 pro if just putting in a PS5?

    I would say Yes, but not an expert. 990 is beter sequential read speed and has newer controller.

      On the reviews it said real world difference was very small and not worth the extra price. But I guess that depends on the actual price difference at the time.

        I think I read somewhere 990 has better heat management. Don't quote me on this though. Consider 990 only for PS5 if the price difference is minimal. For pc, I won't bother.
