Got this via email today, unsure how good it will be but it seems to be on everything in store 5-9pm.

Biggest & Best Sale Of The Year Apparently. Time will tell.

Edit:

Please note, this sale is instore only on Friday (5PM - 9PM), and will be available online on Monday (6PM - 12am) with similar deals.

We will use this thread for both sales events, and update accordingly.

  • What about those living in Gore?

    • iirc the website will have items on sale 11-3pm or something

      • 'item currently out of stock' after the mad rush cleans it out…

    • Wait, what? People actually live in Gore?

  • +6

So we are looking for RRPs to increase this week then, in advance of the 'sale'?

    • +1

      pricespy history has discover that

      • Yep:)

  • Just had a look at the deals. Quite impressive! Someone should be able to list all the items. Just on the phone atm so can't really do much.

    • Going through it now, will see what I can whip up.

  • Xbox one deals seem good?

Though that Microsoft online package deal is still pretty legendary.

  • Please note that any further PBTech deals regarding these sales events will be unpublished and copied to the OP here.

If you spot any decent deals, please post as a comment, and will add to the OP.

  • The Brother MFC9140 is a very sharp price, been keeping an eye on in for a few month now. Cheapest Iv seen it go down do is $314 plus shipping. PB have it for $299, with a $200 cash back.
For a full COLOUR Laser MFC this is decent. Cheap enough IMO to use generic toners and when it does just buy a new printer!

    • I got it, as long as you're OK with no wifi capabilities (I connect it up to a USB port on my router) it's a great printer.

  • Everyone should look at the items they want and use the store stock checker on the product pages before venturing to PB stores. I found quite a few items I wanted but noticed Wellington has 0 in stock vs 5 in Christchurch. Seems to be a bit of a let down as the flyer doesn't say that only 1 store has an 1 Apple iPhone for 13% off. Bit misleading to me but hey still quite a few deals to be had.

  • Merged from PBTech Black Friday Sale Error - All Products Purchasable Online

    Hi Guys,

There is an error on the PBTech website tonight as part of their black friday sale.

Visit any product that is on sale and you'll see the green in-store only option.

Copy the SKU number from the URL or on the page. So for example on the $405 Xbox One you can use: GAMMST10103.

Visit this link: http://www.pbtech.co.nz/code/basket_add_pdo.php?product=XXXX… - Put your SKU where XXX is. Hit enter, nothing happens but in a new window go to the pbtech site and then visit the cart.

Product will show up in Cart with 15 minute countdown time. Add your free delivery coupon and checkout as per normal.

Hopefully they honour the orders put through this way. Nothing really interests me in the sale but I got an Xbox for a Christmas Present. Hope this is helpful for anyone that couldn't go to the store sale like me.

Very basic programming oversight here. Have a nice evening.

    • Nicely picked up!!

    • Just be careful, and don't get your hopes up of it being honored like the HN furniture disaster. Nice find regardless though.

      • My order was shipped last night at 6.30 so its working fine :)

        • Awesome, good to hear there are no issues.

        • @Shaw: Nice, I didn't expect PB Tech to honor that.

  • This has been tagged as expired buy it's valid Monday as well.

    • Wow the Galaxy Tab sold out fast…

  • Did notice the website was struggling…

    Hello there,

Last night during our Cyber Monday online sale, we experienced technical problems with our website as a result of a malicious attack on our servers. If you visited our site during the sale, you may not have been able to browse the site properly, or place an order. We realise that this has caused inconvenience and frustration, and we sincerely apologise.

In preparation for this event, we significantly increased our server resources - The total capacity was 20 times more than last year - but even this wasn't enough to prevent the issues we experienced. We're taking this to heart, and promise to be better prepared next year - But more importantly, here's what we are going to do to put things right with you, our loyal customers:

The Cyber Monday sale will be extended for the rest of Monday 16th November, and the whole of Tuesday 17th November, until 11:59PM.

Sale pricing will be available both online and in-store.

During this extended sale period, you can browse our Cyber Monday deals on this page, and order online: http://www.pbtech.co.nz/index.php?p=cyber-monday

Products available at your local PB branch can also be purchased in-store where stock is available.

Again, please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience you experienced during our Cyber Monday sale. We're committed to putting it right, and trust that this extension of the sale and the addition of in-store sale pricing will help you get the deals you wanted while our site was offline.

Thank you for your support, it really means a lot to us.

    The PB Tech Team
