    But I guess the extra $50 worth the 3 accessories? For what I can tell, the extra ones are: fabric/matress tool, up-top adapter, soft dusting brush

          If you have space to place the dock, easy to pick up and go. plus you can put accessories on the dock as well. Less risk of either kicking it or it falling over if placed upright leaning against wall.

        The wall mounting dock appears to be included in all revisions, be it at Dyson, Heathcotes or HN, unless you mean the floor dock of course :)

          Yes, I meant floor dock. If you are fine with wall dock, it should work as well. I have mine placed inside linen cupboard, so don't want it on the wall

      Only difference is accessories. I believe the complete has more than absolute

      The $849 model also comes with a floor dock and 3 additional accessories

      No difference as mentioned above by OP.

      Additionally just a gold color pipe in middle. Depending on your needs either should be fine.

    I just bought the v15 complete last week! Seems like this is a better deal :(. Has anyone tries the v12 and v15? Which is better and is it worth returning to dyson to get the v12 now?

      V12 has the one touch button, laser light, much lighter to handle
      But the dustbin is much smaller if you have a big house

      NL & HN have it on display in-store both models. I tried to play with them and got v12 last year. Very happy with it.

      I needed something light and handy for daily use, but powerful enough for getting carpet as well as wooden floor and carpeted stairs cleaned. I liked the weight on v12 and it gave less strain compared to v15. v15 is definitely powerful but way heavier.

      The laser thingy is not just a gimmick as most of them think about it. I find it very useful and can see all the dust clearly. This is something you won't figure out until you use it for few times.

      Only downside with v12 is the bin size, quite small but that's the tradeoff against weight though it could have been 1/4 size bigger.

    I posted this on Geekzone and a member reckons he messaged Dyson about it and they were able to find a few more to purchase. If you're after one, I recommend doing the same.
