Spotify Premium - 3 Months Free (New Users) @ Spotify

130

For this offer, get Spotify Premium for 3 months free.
Valid until 16th May 2023.

This one works for those who use iPhone too, unlike my previous Spotify post which requires Android or at least an emulator.

  • Individual plan only
  • $14.99 month thereafter.

These offers are always for new users only.
If you already have an account then you will need to create a new one (different email address) and use a credit card not used previously.
I recommend Wise if you don't have it already to give you a new card number for the trial.
Make sure you cancel straight away to avoid being charged at the end of the trial.

  • I have got Youtube Music, can someone please give me a reason why I would need spotify as well? more songs?

For me, it's the Alexa integration.
Works perfectly and I can just say 'Alexa play xyx'.
Also, it's what I'm used to so don't see the need to change.

      • ah, good point. Thanks.

    • For me, I much prefer the Spotify app itself and how well it integrates across difference devices in our household. We have a few smart speakers round the house and when you open the Spotify app on any device it will show you what's currently playing and you can control the music session from that device…

It's a bit more primative with YT Music where I've found that unless you open the app on the device that started the initial music session, it will think you're starting a new playing session and overrides the previous playing session - i.e. if i started session from my phone to a smart speaker, then jumped on my tablet or laptop, it won't know what's playing and override the session started on my phone.

As far as content goes, I haven't really noticed any major differences…

      • thanks, very solid one. And I will give this a go since it is free.

  • Does anyone know if I can import my existing playlists over if I sign up with a new email?

    • +1

You can use something like http://www.spotmybackup.com/ to export your old playlist and then reimport into your new account.
Note, that it does reverse the order of your playlist so if you want it in the original order just export/import it again.

Alternatively, share your playlist with your new account.

  • It’s also available for past users who had cancelled their plan prior to 19 March 2023.

  • Thank you so much bigcheese! πŸ™πŸ˜Š
