  • Too late to edit, but I actually had the wrong SKU, hence pricing confusion:

    https://www.noelleeming.co.nz/p/tech.inc-6-way-powerboard/N2…

There is a sku with and without surge protection. The non-surge is $1.73 down from $8.95, which isnt a normal NL price.

    • Do I need to change it to this link?

      • yep. My bad.

I was looking for the original price and got the wrong product in the new window.

  • $1.70 with Farmlands Card. If you want a Farmlands account, just do what I did and copy the details from a card on Google Images lol

    • Doesn't that ask the payment to be made via Farmlands Card?

      • Good point. Never actually tried. Would’ve suggested CSC Premium instead but OP had the wrong link up at the time of my comment above (and so the price wasn’t $1.70ish).

    • +1

I have a farmlands card do you checkout with it?

      • Thank you for the offer, but I just used CSC Premium

Edit: I read further down the comments to find CSC Premium works.

    • Where did you put the farmlands card details?

  • I was actually just looking at this today as needing another powerboard.
    Also $1.73 with N3 card.

  • I have CSCBG GOLD membership but its coming up as $7.16
    What should I do?

  • +1

Comes up same price with CSCBD premium

  • doesn't show as $1.79 with CSCBG Gold

    • +1

It shows $1.73 for me with CSCBG Gold

      • Weird. Wasn’t showing for me an hour ago

      • what Organisation name i am supposed to select?

        • It doesn't matter.
I just use 'Aircrew' which is the first one on the list.

          • @bigcheese: i think it takes a while for Gold to update if you were on main, premium or others? mine still shows CSCBG Main, even though changed it to Gold

            • @Matrixx: No it should do it straight away.
You need to log out first after the change and it should be updated when you log back in.

      • +1

I logged out and back in and it shows $3.11 CSCBG Premium Price.

        • +2

They have updated the pricing now to $3.11
It still shows as $1.73 under a search for ‘Powerboard’ but the actual product is $3.11.

Id buy two of these, as Tech Inc. Can be highly problematic, especially the headphones.

When i worked at the Warehouse people were always getting credits for this beand.

    • Techinc, endeavour, veon accessories are all the same no brand alibaba crap, at the very least itll be certified enouhg not to burn down the house

This'll be fine for some chargers in the garage

  • is it just me or their website is playing up. Ive searched for power boards and ive come across this one - Tech.Inc 4 Way Powerboard with Surge Protection & USB - N217972, the price shows as $12.89 but when i click on the product, the price shows $23.11.

    Search Link - https://www.noelleeming.co.nz/search?q=%20Power%20Boards&sru…
    Product Link - https://www.noelleeming.co.nz/p/tech.inc-4-way-powerboard-wi…

Same thing is happening to me with this original product.
It shows $1.73 when I search power boards but once I click the product to buy it the price changes to $3.11

      • same for me

    • Yes it looks like the pricing has changed for the individual products but their search page hasn't updated.

  • I'd only use such for cheap stuff, if it's expensive electronic stuff invest in like a Belkin or so that also will cover replacement.
They also often will send out a replacement powerboard free if yours fails/frys

    https://www.belkin.com/au/support-article/?articleNum=315146

    • Do we have to send the failed board to them? I have one which failed and have still kept, for no reason.

      • +1

I don't think we did, just gave them the serial and the probably marked it on their system and sent out a replacement.
        May need your receipt

FYI: This was about 8+ years ago

  • These are practically identical to the one's they recalled in Australia a few years ago. Hopefully they've fixed the design issue:

Defect: The electrical contacts of the sockets are poorly aligned and the plastic enclosure does not meet the flammability requirements of the applicable standard.
    Hazard: Risk of fire

    https://www.productsafety.gov.au/recalls/kmart-australia-lim…

    • huh. If I get mine (orders not cancelled, it was free with the 20 dollar coupon from last week) Ill open it up eh ?

    • i had a few similar cheap ones and the contacts are not aligned so they likely to buckle so you have to insert them in a angle and not unplug them often.
when i buy power boards i always insert the plug and see how well it fits, that and get a proper brand similar quality to a wall socket.

  • Has anyone who ordered got theirs yet? I am still waiting and randomly remembered I ordered.

    • I have this> Status: AWAITING_STOCK

  • Any luck???

    • Still waiting.
