  I'm looking to upgrade from two 1080p 24" monitors to something bigger for work. Are these a good option for that? I mostly do web development so lots of text. Laptop is Linux going through a Dell dock

    Yup definitely more worth this upgrade, text will be much smaller though 1440p sweet spot is 32"/34" mainly

    if you want 2x 34" 1440p ultrawides = 4 1080p screens worth of real estate

      1440p @ 27inches is the sweet spot - 32" is too big, and 34" is usually ultrawide (eg 3440x1440), which is the same height vertically as a 27" 16:9 2560x1440p panel

  Looking to upgrade from fullHD 24” to QHD 27”. I have read the text appears smaller and it needs to be run at 125% magnification. Can anyone confirm if my experience will be noticeably different?

    Don’t know why I didn’t click until now, but I’m currently using this monitor at home 😅. I’ll check in the morning, but I have a feeling that I have it 100%.
