Can anyone fill in the details on getting best tape refill value, and costliness of that?

Does anyone know why they are doing it on these products? - are they trying to get rid of them/phasing out the inks or tapes etc.. Bad ratings, performance, low selling etc..
I got the label printer as this would actually be really handy, but I've also been wanting to get a printer for a while but know nothing about whether the two posted are any good and kinda don't trust the deal!
Most of the companies don't make money on printers but on inks/tapes. Also, it's possible they are phasing out the specific model.
I got a home Brother multifunction printer/scanner about 6 years ago for $149.50 and got a cashback for $150. So, I earnt 50c.
I am still using the printer weekly at home. I could not be happier. They make their money on the ink cartridges but you can cheaper no brand cartirdges
The Warehouse were willing to price match Direct.co.nz… on the second attempt (thanks Nicola from the warehouse!).

Oh, no…I was in the warehouse sight. On the T&C it says only one claim per customer. Does anyone had success getting more than that?
