I have been researching mid range portable Bluetooth speakers since Christmas, but every model I looked at had something missing such as no stereo sound, no aux port, didn’t have usb-c charging etc

    I would guess being ip67 rated, probably not - do any of the well known brands have user replaceable batteries?

    Edit: just saw that you can buy the Ueboom batteries, in this case I’m not sure sorry!

      If you consider the ue as user replaceable, then all batteries are user replaceable. The first gen requires soldering and is quite intricate.

  How do you achieve stereo without a companion app? I have found multi BT output on Samsung devices only does out of sync dual stereo (made for headphones akimbo). Stereo would require sending two L channels to one device and two R channels to the other.
