good luck, the last few things iv tried to pricebeat from bunnings they have refused, because "its only a little cheaper at bunnings" Or just Mitre10 Beckenham is useless.
Sounds like a branch specific issue. I've had no trouble having prices beaten when there's only a few dollars difference. They'd have a hard time feeding me that excuse.
If you can be bothered, you can contest that, since in their T&C there's no mention of they won't match if "its only a little cheaper at bunnings". But I usually won't bother arguing with them, just try another store. M10 is mostly a rip off IMHO anyway, so called "local business".
lol yea i know and pointed this out, but the staff really didn't give a… and after having the same conversation with two different staff I just went to bunnings in the end anyway. I figure other mitre10 stores might be better but iv had consistent issues in Christchurch with stores here, sometimes they will sometimes they wont. Think ill just mostly avoid them now unless its a big savings

I’ve done several matches at Mega in Papanui and never had an issue with any of them.
Expired now? Price shows $247 for me.
Be aware that this is the more powerful model. The cheaper Dremel 3000 kit retails at $129 at Bunnings, and there are even cheaper options if all you need is light cutting or engraving.
Still a good price after price beat though.
