Wanted: Double or Larger Mattress Bag

I bought a T7 self-inflating mattress in the BF sale, it came compressed and rolled up, but it recommended that it's stored _inflated_and only rolled into its bag for transporting. Now that's a pain, but not insurmountable. I can make space for it in the garage but don't want it to get dusty. So I'm just wondering if anyone has bought a double or larger mattress recently and wouldn't mind parting with the bag it came in? I can pick it up in Auckland or wouldn't mind paying for shipping if you can roll it up and courier it?

    Just go to a bed shop, ask them for a bag that’s bigger than what size bed you have, say you’ve purchased a bed from them in the past and you need a bag to store it.

    Out of interest what Torpedo 7 self inflating mattress did you get and how comfortable did you find it? I've been looking at them too

      I decided to splash out on it after only ever buying the cheapest air mattresses and always being disappointed when they inevitably leaked the second season. There's nothing like waking up the first morning of a week long camp lying on the ground… 😒

      So far impressions are ok, I've slept on it twice. Being thinner than a regular mattress you don't sink into it as much, so I find I need a thicker pillow to compensate. It's perhaps not as comfortable as I had hoped, but then it does take some time to get used to a new mattress so a bit more time will tell.
