Although showing as in-stock on their website for Whangarei, there was no stock on the shelves and customer service told me the product was recalled but could not tell me why or elaborate. YMMV at different locations.
There was no stock on the shelf in my local store. Staff went out the back and located some, they said it had just arrived yesterday and not yet put out on shelves
I hope that might end up being the case, might be worth checking again yesterday in case I got someone who couldn't be bothered today…
At least for anyone coming to Whangarei just be warned it's not currently on the shelves and no certainty that they will appear at this store.

I asked at the counter at my local store as none on the shelves. She said they had had heaps of people asking about it today, it was out the back in many pellets but hadn't been broken up yet so they cant sell it until they do that. She said not sure when but to call ahead next time.
Maybe trying to clear their old stocks, by the time the pallets are broken up, prices will be backed to normal.

Picked up 2 bottles from Lunn Ave yesterday, still had about 10 on the shelf.
We've been using this stuff for years. One of the few sunscreens that actually meets the spf 50+ rating on the label, according to consumer nz.
Would recommend.
