      If you're talking about the Timex Expedition, I bought one too. I took the strap off mine and I'm using a NATO strap. I find NATO straps more comfortable.

        @hamburgersandwich: It is indeed the Expedition, and thanks for the suggestion. I might look into alternative straps. I also got the Timex Main Street, but I haven't taken the time to look into how I adjust the fit.
