Although these cases look nice, I'd really suggest staying away from them. They don't have a great deal of air flow, and considering the way in which the market is trending toward components requiring more and more cooling (think PSU wattage recommendations going up every year) I'd recommend something more like the Phanteks Eclipse P360A or P300A.

Those are basically the same as the Metallicgear Neo Air (Metallicgear being a subsidiary of Phanteks) I went with back in the day, and I'm glad I went for it.

The P300A is only $76.70 and is a really good deal at that price. Plenty of mesh and removable filters that are easy to clean. I’ve got a PC running in a media cupboard inside one of them and it’s excellent.

        Only $76.70 currently

        • If you've built with an NZXT case, you'd know the difference between phantoms and NZXT. Completely different, even though phantoms is somewhat more expensive in some cases, it's nowhere close how good NZXT is. If had to recommend a case, lian-li would be the best bet.

          • @freebees123: Yes NZXT was a dream to build in.
But I’m thinking of long term. Performance and maintenance. An extra hour of building, but better temps and easy filters are long term a preference for me

@Tmurder91: If you're going for air flow and a dream PC to build, would definitely recommend a lian li case. I've built with all three brands, lian li, NZXT and phanteks.

              My rate out of 10:
phanteks: 4/10 (terrible cable management system, the I/O cables are confusing if you are new to pc building, only good is the cheap price and rgb fans with most cases)
NZXT: 8/10 (the cable management system is 10/10 although the only downer is the quality of the case, after comparing to a lian-li case, I was instantly disappointed, almost feels cheap to me, airflow isn't the best)
lian-li: 9/10(this is subjective to the case. I think lian-li is a copy of NZXT designs although their quality is significantly better, not really noob friendly but definitely highest quality, cable management isn't as good as NZXT but a lot better than phanteks)

              hope this helps :)
              ps: haven't found a 10/10 case yet…

@freebees123: Big fan of Lian Li. Using the Lian Li Lancool II Mesh as we speak.

  • According to price spy, cheapest is 96.60 so not the best deal 😂 https://pricespy.co.nz/product.php?p=5351154#statistics
