Might be worth waiting another 1.5 hours for this from PB Tech. It looks like a few items will be discounted by more than 20%

    • Is this just ultimately a promo code they tell you on the livestream, alongside the competition element?

  • Not quite sure why, but it shows that Samsung 64GB EVO Plus MicroSD $16.8, 128GB $33.6 for me as of 18:43

    • oops. Must be because I was logged into my CSC account.

  • I got the exact same microSD cards (except it was 256GB) from Aliexpress not too long ago for around $35. Genuine and benchmark tested. There's a sale on Aliexpress on the 22nd for a lot of things, might be even cheaper then.

    • Any store recommendations?

This is the store I bought it from, it's more expensive now than when I got it, but still cheaper than buying in NZ. This one definitely has a sale on August 22nd.
        https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32806189432.html

        For example, here's the link to a 128GB A2 V30 in Noel Leeming's site:
        https://www.noelleeming.co.nz/p/samsung-128gb-evo-plus-micro…

It'll be $27 according to your post, but it's $23.44 on Aliexpress and this includes NZ import tax and free shipping. Exact same card (make sure you pay attention to the Pro Endurance and the Evo Plus versions). I'm comparing Evo Plus A2 V30 for both.

If you want it cheaper, just wait a few days until the August 22nd sale on Aliexpress.

I tend to always just buy microSD cards from reputable sources on Aliexpress or other sites. I don't need them in a hurry and they usually arrive within 1 month. I buy so much stuff online regularly, so waiting 1 month is worth it for me. Besides, even if there isn't a sale on Aliexpress, you can always buy these at any time there's a 99% chance that it'll still be cheaper than buying in NZ (even when there's a sale). Depends on the product of course, but I found this to be the case for microSDs.

        • What else you planning to buy on Ali on 22?

          • +1

@justaddwater: Not sure yet. Maybe another 18 port USB hub / port replicator and another 240W GaN charger. I'm thinking of buying them again just for work use, but then again I don't go into the office much.

And I guess just whatever stuff my wife needs.

I really need to stop using Aliexpress to be honest. I've spent way too much money on it these days. I'm already like a Diamond Member (you need like 1500 points and I have like 6305 points right now) and have like 50 orders being shipped atm. Probably had over 300 orders this year alone. Rip my wallet.

            • @NovaAlpha: What are your opinions on a cheap thunderbolt hub / dock for windows via Ali? have you got one youve been happy with?

Not a bad deal on the S22 phones now, $940 for the standard is well below what I paid for one a few weeks ago.

  • Did The Market update with these prices too?

  • Thanks! Let my dad know and he treated himself to a new QLED tv for the best price he's seen.

  • Bought the 256GB version if this sdcard from Amazon 2 months ago for AUD$42.9. So not too much of a deal.

  • Bought an S22, got charged the non sale price and both online chat and their phone support threw their hands up and went 'idk man sale price is $1179 it's our hot deal right now'. Useless.
