avworld's reviews weren't that good on google, especially the ones from couple years back. Anyone had better experience with them recently?
I have found that unless you're in there to buy speakers like these, they DGAF about you. Went in to buy a few recievers (for my business) and got completely ignored.
I had the opposite experience, guys were pretty good in store and let me Demo a bunch of stuff and take my time, and this was before they knew my budget or anything. I ended up spending ~$4k on stuff and got them to price match on some stuff too and they had no problems.
They're a little bit difficult if you communicate via email (slow replies or generally unhelpful), but in person they're great and pretty useful.
Yea might be cus I normally dress pretty meh. They probably assumed I couldnt afford anything.

I bought a wharfedale Jade 7/5/2c speaker set brand new except one was a floor model with a 2mm Nick for 4500 delivered. Retail I think was about 20-25k in NZ. They were a direct competitor to the b&W 800 series
