Chemist Warehouse do a 10% price match so useful for these types of items.
Really? Did you do it online?
Despite price match advertised online, two occasions I've tried in-store, both times they beat the price by 1 cent only.
It was the Manukau Westfield store in Auckland.I did it in store. The following info from their FAQ - I note it says to bring in a catalogue but I just showed the price to them on the website (using my phone) and they beat it by 10% - had to get the store manager to do it so they don't empower their front line team to do it, unlike say at Mitre 10 where I find the team are very good at the price beat stuff:

You did well to get it done instore - particularly as this is marked as a clearance line.
@bigcheese: Yeah just to be clear it wasn't on this deal - but I've had them price beat Countdown on toiletry specials by showing them the online Countdown mailer for that week. They are not as gracious about it as the Mitre 10 team, but they have done it a couple of times for me.
@Savey: People are right when describing these big foreign corporates. They enter the market, kill off their competitors with their low prices, the set their own special guidelines afterwards.
Yeah I read the t&c before try to price beat in Manukau store. The store manager still only gave 1c off from competitor's price, saying that's their maximum offer.
Will try somewhere else next time or try online next time.
