Icebreaker Socks - Buy 2 & Get a 3rd Free @ Torpedo7

110

These socks have a lifetime guarantee for holes. Some other brands do this also but I like that you can take them into the store and swap them out with a new pair. It's easy as. Savings add up when you consider each replacement set you could get for free.

Saw torpedo7 also have just started doing the same gaurentee when they get holes for their own brand socks but I couldn't find the ones online yet so might be worth a look into also as with club pricing these were about $17 each.

Icebreaker socks aren't just socks… they're merino! Long-lasting and sooo comfortable to wear. That's all I wear during winter, and this is a great buy!

Think of it as an investment in socks - lifetime guarantee means you once you have a few pairs, you'll never has to replace again.

If anyone was wondering if it stacked with the HNZ code i'll save you time

The Friends & Family codes work, but as mentioned in the T&Cs, b2g1f doesn't work with any other discount/offer.

  • Do they ever get cheaper than this? I was considering buying for my partner but can’t tell if his problem is making holes in socks or losing them behind the washing machine 🤔

Just go to icebreaker outlet. Sometimes they have sales and socks are 50% off.

  • Of note, I swapped a pair at the Commercial Bay store about 6 months ago and the staff member there said they were considering changing the sock return policy to a one year warranty. However the policy appears to still be in place for now.

They can't do that for those who have already brought.

I bought about 6 pairs and considering buying more. Merino is the best material to wear for anything, but it does lack a bit of durability.

2 pairs have holes and the other 4 are starting to run thin and I am expecting holes soon. It's been 1-2 years so not too bad but at this price not great. I'm a bit embarassed to return them to Torpedo7, has anyone tried posting them directly to Icebreaker?

Just go to any icebreaker retail shops, they will replace them for you.

  • Stages of student socks:
    1. They work as insect (and anything alive) repellant
    2. You can put the socks standing next to the shoes
    3. You can see your toes
    4. You can take the socks without taking off the shoes

That might be worth its own post! Wait for me to buy what I need first though… ;)

  • Thanks for this! Got 3 pairs of the women's hike+ socks, I've always got cold feet in winter so these will be great. Love the lifetime guarantee as well - you don't need a receipt or anything, they just look for the icebreaker logo on the socks (at least that's what they told me in the icebreaker shop when I bought a couple of pairs as a gift last year).

Don't bother with the friends and family code though, it overrode the buy 2 get 1 free deal and made my cart more expensive (with no easy way to remove the code either)

Free shipping for orders over $100 so maybe have a look for something to push you over the edge if you're close to $100. I got some clearance thermal leggings for $20

"I've always got cold feet in winter" …. at the risk of going off topic, the herbal remedy "Gingko Biloba" helps (me) reduce cold feet, hands in winter ….

      • Any brand you recommend please?

      • Thanks for the recommendation! I also have issues with cold hands so I'm willing to try any remedies. Just ordered some ginkgo biloba (Healthy Care brand, seemed to have good reviews and relatively cheap at Chemist Warehouse) so we'll see how it goes :)

Must have a Kevlar lining at that original price.
        Stops bullets and the cold.
