Idk, i like them. Those power sales guys. Years ago they able to gave me special deal on the rate of electricity. Nowadays whenever they rang, i happily show them my current plan and if they can't beat it, "have a nice day" - they will go away in a heartbeat.

But yea, i hate those religious sales cretins. Do they have specific stickers for those bible thumping rubbish?

Thank god (heh) those JW fellas stopped showing up after COVID. They send letters now.

  • I have them but reluctant to put up, am worried that the courier driver won't knock…haha

My wife had a good response last week when we had one of the power company salespeople knock at our door.
When they asked how she was doing her response was "I'm OK, just isolating with Covid"
She didn't have Covid but they couldn;t leave quick enough!

Brilliant! Tell your wife she is a genius - I am going to use that too!

      • I will pass on your compliments.
It's not what she normally does but I quite like it too!

Maybe it will be better to have a sign stating "do not knock isolating from covid" instead.

@coffeee: But then you don't get the look of panic in their eyes when you open the door!

            • @bigcheese: I agree - that's the payoff that I am looking for too!

  • Is there a limit to how many you can order?

  • This has come into force today
