Market Club v MarketClub+ : The Difference Explained

I thought it might be good to have a post pointing out the difference between Market Club, Market Club+ with The Warehouse and The Market respectively.
There have been a number of questions lately about offers across the two memberships and it appears quite a lot of confusion.
I'm not an expert - so feel free to add any additional comments below but hopefully this helps clarify the difference.

Market Club

• This is offered by The Warehouse and is free to join.
• Offers are only available through The Warehouse App. You must be signed in to your account and then join 'Market Club' from within the app.
• Mobile phone verification via a one time code is required to join.
• Once signed up you will be eligible for weekly offers that start on a Wednesday and are valid until the following Tuesday midnight.
• The Warehouse also donates to a charity of your choice (from a provided selection) with every purchase.
• The Warehouse Free Shipping Coupons can be used in conjunction with Market Club offers provided they meet criteria such as minimum order values, not oversized etc
• Click & Collect is available for online orders and is free
• Upon signup you will be given a $5 Welcome Voucher that can only be redeemed for purchases made in The Warehouse app or in-store with a minimum spend of $5.01. The voucher is valid for one month after signing up and cannot be used with any other basket level offer in-store (explanation following).

The way offers can be used together varies depending on whether you’re shopping in a physical store or if you’re shopping in The Warehouse app.

When shopping in-store you can use more than one MarketClub product/category offer per transaction, as long as you meet the requirements of each offer. However, you cannot use a product/category offer and a basket level offer in the same transaction, nor can you use more than one basket level offer in the same transaction.

When shopping in the app you can use more than one MarketClub product/category offer per transaction, you can also use a product/category offer with a basket level offer in the same transaction, and you can use more than one basket level offer in the same transaction – as long as you meet the requirements of each offer.

What is a product/category offer? It’s an offer that applies to a specific item or group of items, e.g. 20% off Gascraft Portable Gas BBQs or 15% off pet beds.
What is a basket level offer? It’s an offer that applies to the whole purchase, e.g. Spend $50 and get $5 off or get 10% off when you spend $100 or more.

MarketClub+

• This is a paid version of MarketClub that offers free shipping on eligible orders on TheMarket. Currently MarketClub+ is only available to customers who join through TheMarket.
• Available on both an App and the The Market Website
• Free shipping is on all eligible items when your order is $45 or more. Look for the + icon when shopping. For bulky items a Bulky Shipping surcharge may apply.

• Alternatively, there are some stores that offer free shipping on the Market. This post from Wakrak is a good place to start to look for these stores that ship for free.

Costs to join MarketClub+ for a month are from $5.99 - or longer to save more:

• 1 month - $5.99
• 3 months - $15
• 12 months - $50
• Alternatively, if you are a Vodafone mobile customer you can get free MarketClub+ membership here for as long as you remain a Vodafone customer.

Click & Collect is available on some (but not all orders) and is done at MarketPoint pickup locations. These locations can be seen at checkout by entering you post code to find the nearest pickup points.

• Collection from a Pickup point will incur charges for most orders under $45 (regardless of whether you are a MarketClub+ member or not)
