Nintendo Switch OLED (White) AU$511.23 (~NZ$553.50 Delivered) @ Amazon AU

110

I was planning to get a switch for the kids and this was a big enough difference to take the plunge. Obviously returning for faults could be a PITA but I'm willing to take the risk. By comparison the best price I've come across previously is $619 less 10% (when a market special is on) = $557.10

Order Summary
Item(s) Subtotal:$444.55
Delivery:$5.17
Total Before GST:$449.72
Estimated GST:$67.46
Total:$517.18
Promotion(s) Applied:-$5.95

If you're in no rush, it was AU$469 delivered at the end of March. Roughly $510 NZ. Might hit that price again.

    • Aah I've just realized your edits. I paid NZD 511 for this, not $553. My cost breakdown was in NZD

      • How did you get 511 NZ? I get AU$66.91 for Mario Kart 8.

With the joycon issue it might be more hassle than its worth

  • Amazon does free returns if faulty - so no risk required.

      30 days only right?

how to claim the warranty, who knows

      • The AU warranty applies so its pretty safe

  • Isn't the price $489?

    • AU$511.23 once you get to checkout

    • Aus gst is 10%but NZ gst is 15% so it's 489/1.1*1.15

  • Paid $79 for Mario kart 8 + 3 months membership on Trademe two weeks ago. They sent me the download code within 30 min.

  • Just picked up one from Noel Leeming for $599 and mario kart 8 for $86(CSC discount). I wanted to spend my true rewards dollors so have to get it from Noels.

  • It was AU$469.41 delivered(including GST & Shipping) few days ago.
If you want Mario Kart 8 and don't mind old screen then buy this one https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B08NBFDR2Z/ which is AU$478.96 delivered. Then sell the Mario Kart 8 + 3 month member ship for $79 on Trademe like above post mentioned.
Both way cheaper than NZ local prices.

    • if you primarily play on the TV and wont use the OLED screen this would be the better option.

  • Now $528.30 on The Market with code EXCLU10. But it's through Skyphonez

NL has it on sale for $599 so hopefully they update their The Market store price soon'ish.

    • Switch OLED model sold by the warehouse in the market website, NL will not listing in the market

  • Anyone that's into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, there's an Australasian tournament coming up and you can win prizes
