      Called their customer service and looks like it's a system issue and they're 'investigating' (*cough) and hope to have it sorted by tomorrow. Not holding my breath on that one but I've been surprised in the past

      I claimed mine on 13/03, I only purchased a french stick with the transaction, it didn't seem to be a problem.

      Claimed mine this morning no problems.
      Before purchasing I asked what was required and the woman told me I could buy whatever I liked to claim the free hot cross buns.
      I did buy a loaf of bread but only because that’s what the kids wanted when I was there.

      Yes Botany store here in Auckland so doing this. Even after head office saying they shouldn’t, they are making their own rules and the owner says it’s up to their discretion.

    The first time I went to the Manukau store, the staff said they are not participating in the promotion.
    I emailed Bakers Delight Australia and they confirmed Manukau is participating in the promotion.

    Went back the next day and showed the same staff the email. Still she insisted they are not participating in the promotion!
    Luckily our persistent paid off and she very reluctantly gave us the hot cross buns for free.
    To piss her off, I may return this weekend to claim another 6!

    They are nice hot cross buns but I wouldn't pay $10 for them.
