The Low Quantity Thread

See New Post for Year 2025 onwards.

Limited Quantity

If your deal has limited quantity, please mention it in the description. If the quantity is too small then your deal may be removed. As a guideline, less than 10 quantity of items is not enough for a deal unless the item has a high price.

This is the thread for these deals.

    • Yo thats actually cheap lol. I remember the Fuji X pricing was like $900 for this thing when I got mine, lol.

    • Edit: NL link is now dead, so maybe it was a listing accident or they've all been bought already.

      • This happens when they've sold all their online stock. There maybe a few in store only.

    • Available again

    • So this is a 1500 dollar lens for 635?! What shots is this good for?

Not low - sold out in some stores but available online. Now $10 - which is even better than the max $20 I thought it was worth

    https://www.kmart.co.nz/product/bluetooth-led-pixel-display-…?

Also a cool plasma ball for $10 (it is, I got one when it was $20), and other discounts to stuff that was already on clearance.

      Previous post for Pixel Display
      https://www.cheapies.nz/node/49985

    • Got one today

    • If they had made these without the frame, you could combine multiple ones together to create larger images, also increasing sales as people may be more inclined to buy more. Missed opportunity from the designer really.

      • It would probably cost a lot more to make the product frameless.

    • I got mine it's pretty cool not that clear as it's 16x16 but for 10 I can't complain lol. Looks like an amazing gift as well 😁

    • We've processed your refund for order…

      ;(

      • still have 2 in stock petone kmart.

    • nice, bought one C&C @ $29, just got another 2 @ $10. hopefully gets processed! Neat wee things

    • These pixel things are fun, better than i was expecting. Pacman and ghost gifs on mine

If you’re renewing policies with AMI, ask them to quote you on their “new system”, you may be able to get significant savings to your current policy. Although be aware YMMV if you’ve made a lot of claims, as their new system is property specific now rather than generalised region specific, or so I am told.

    • Bizarre that this wasn't the case thirty years ago.

JBL Tour Pro 2 ANC earphones. $128
    https://www.harveynorman.co.nz/headphones-and-speakers/headp…

These would occasionally go on special for around $220.

I had been looking at these for ages until the TP3's came out (which I purchased instead)
    .
Great price for a set of earphones that include a control screen on the charging case.

Seems like Harvey's are getting rid of a bunch of other JBL headphones too. Possibly worth a look.

      • eventually managing to navigate the disaster of logging in to the new website.

I can't seem to login at all with my existing account (won't even send me a password reset) - can't be arsed creating a new one.

Oddly, up until a few days ago, they were sending me emails every day, to that exact email address, warning that their sale was ending.

        Marketing Muppets :-P

        • I did find that if you have an existing account and it directs you to the different re-activation page, it’s not very apparent that then triggers an email that you have to click through to verify the account. I tried it a few times and thought it wasn’t working then later went back to my email and saw 8 verification emails…

    • OOS

Thank you so much! Just used the code to order 7 boxes of beer.

Interesting that Woolworths don't just transfer the stock elsewhere, but perhaps these are all from opened boxes (so less than a dozen, say) and more hassle than its worth.

If so, that probably means that most lines will only have a few bottles available as @AleBeerenhoff found.

      • +1

Better for them to sell it with processes already in place than have to deal with the logistics of getting it onto shop floors

    • +1

Thanks for the headsup - grabbed a handful of bottles….have to be pretty quick - got to cart twice and then things were out of stock :O

Musashi protein 900g $3.99 at PNS Alderman Dr
    https://www.paknsave.co.nz/shop/search?pg=1&q=Musashi%20900g

Managed to price-match at The Warehouse (thankfully vanilla had the same bottle design. Didn’t try with chocolate)

    https://www.thewarehouse.co.nz/c/health-beauty/health-first-…

    Don’t bother trying online.

    • +2

But how can that price be possible? Is it available in-store? Most Aucklanders would be able to go directly to the paknsave to purchase instead of trying to pricematch but the price is just too unbelievable.

      • May be profit margins are higher than we think. :D

      • Probably clearing all shelf stock of the old design but agree, the price is crazy - even at $20 it would easily clear shelves

      • Probably a price-error and supposed to be $33.99 or $39.99.

    • +1

      Nothing instore. Just checked

    • Got 1 from chemistwarehouse, technically it should have been free but they matched 3.99. Took my name n number as thought i was fibbing

      • Do they only allow 1?

        • +1

          Their policy states 3.

          • +1

@Bill: Yes, it's 3 I can confirm. Have been price matching other stuffs quite regularly from Parknsave.

          • @Bill: Really? I got told like a year ago its 1 and never looked into it. Dammit

Wow just looked it up and you are right, ill.save that page for next time, iv missed out on a few deals because of that

        • Yeah i woulda got 1 of each flavour but no choc left

      • they told me they only match to other chemist not supermarket

        • +2

They lied to you, they lie lots. Heres what the website says

Chemist Warehouse if you find a cheaper price on the exact same item at another New Zealand Registered Pharmacy or New Zealand Retailer with a physical store in NZ we will match it and give you 10% off the difference.

    • Someone wiped warehouse te rapa and hillcrest clean it seems

    • New website looks good, but so many items say "There are no source items with the in stock status" when you try add to cart, and no way to filer in stock items only :(

      • Likewise with Rebel Sport. Couldn’t find anything from the Clearance sale that i could actually add to cart

    • I can't buy anything from them. Put things into my shopping cart, go to check out, asks me to log in, then my cart is emptied! Same thing again, while logged in, but asks to log in again and empties my cart. On multiple devices running differerent OS platforms. They don't want my money?
