  • Crossing fingers that the Xbox Series X comes back in stock in parallel… 😅

    • Came in stock the day before the 8% code. Hoping it either shows up or Noel Leeming discount the S for the long weekend. If I can't get an S for $450 I think I'd bite, but over $500 I'd rather stump up and get the X.

  • Whats special bout the Xbox Series X?

    • +1

Hardly in-stock. Hardly discounted. Good gaming machine, especially when you combine with Game Pass Ultimate, 3 years for $150.

    • TheMarket site-wide discounts exclude PS5 but do not exclude Xbox. 5-10% off $799 (Series X) is pretty good.

  • Has anyone had speedy refunds these days? They used to be very quick, but in the last few months it has never happened automatically for me; I always have to send a few prompting emails. One example was a return dropped off in early November, no refund until early December, took a few emails, then refunded in early January. Seller is from NZ, shipped from NZ (outside Auckland).

    • Been quite a few complaints about their customer service over at Geekzone

      • Their refunds take about 20-30 days but they definitely come

    • I had a mouse die within the two year warranty and they sorted a replacement. I had to take it back to Noel Leeming who at first said no we needed more proof of purchase but a bit of back and forth and the market said ask for the manager. The second I dropped the manager's name I suddenly got a replacement no questions asked 🤣

  • If the product has a fault, can u go to Noel lemming to exchange for a new one or does it has to be through The Market?

    • So my one was from Noel Leeming via the market. I requested my return through the market and was told to go to Noel Leeming.

      • Did U have to show proof of purchase such as a receipt?

        • Got told to take in the market order details/invoice as proof of purchase.

Like I said Noel Leeming seemed clueless so having the middle man was a bit of a faff.

          • @Everettpsycho: I have recently returned a faulty product, you have to log a claim on The Market and there are select stores that will accept the return (or you can ship it to the 3rd party).
I went to Noel Leeming and the manager knew what to do.
However the service is quite poor from The Market, I have been waiting over a month for a refund (it was DOA) and they say they will follow up with the seller but then they never get back to you.
            So see what happens.

            • @sphere1: As I said in my case Noel Leeming was the retailer via the market. So when I returned it the guy just walked on to the shop floor took another mouse out the box and handed it over.

Really not certain that's what he was supposed to do but I got the new product so was happy enough.

  • What happens to the parcel when No one is at home to pick it up?

    • Usually they'll leave a card for you to rearrange delivery but sometimes they'll leave the parcel on your property if they think it's safe. It really comes down to the individual driver as to what option they'll choose. Best thing to do is set up an ATL (authority to leave) with the courier companies if you have a safe area parcels can be left on your property, that way you never miss a delivery.

  • Can U price match at The Market?

    • No
