  • Nice find. I've got an impression that the twh gift cards don't expire?

    • Once activated, gift cards expire 24 months after the last transaction.

        Hi Wakrak,

Does that mean if you don't activate, they never expire?

        Thanks,

        Alan.

        • Nott suuureee.

Gift cards are meant to be used ASAP in case the retailer goes into liquidation

  • That will come in very handy.
Good find - this never used to work.

It's so stupid how you can only use their gift cards instore at The Warehouse and not online.

    • I agree. so tend not to buy them or even gift them.

      • I've only just used up the $100 gift card I bought from back when Zip were doing $15 off $100 purchases at The Warehouse and it included gift cards. That deal was from April and I only just used up the credit last week, shows how often I head instore.

    • yep.. so can't stack with the 5 off 50 and other codes.

What about in-store? $5 off $50 and pay with gift card.

Probably can if you scan your MarketClub QR code at the checkout using the Warehouse App?

      • +1

Yes you can, there's no codes anymore just coupons and they can be used instore or online.

        • oh didnt know that. cool :)

          • +2

@huffboy: You just need the app on your phone, you add the coupons to your wallet as per normal and then at checkout you open your wallet in TWH app and they scan the QR code to apply the coupons to your purchase. I only know this because I did it for the first time last week, before that I was the same as you I thought the coupons could only be used online.

can I use gift cards to buy gift cards? haha

  • Fixed now.

    • bugger, was just about to complete order and code wasn't working :(

good on the guys who managed to get it

Possibly someone working for Warehouse Stationery here on Cheapies?? =p

      • +1

        I would say.
Not the first time they have shut down a code…

  • Cheers, grabbed one for impulse in-store buys

  • The Warehouse Group must hate cheapies haha!!

    • I don't think so - we still give them plenty of $
Low margins with Cheapies but high volumes!

      • I mean - when the $5 off $5.01 orders glitch happened, the first time we got 3 items and refunded for all of the items, the 2nd we saved about $150 as we did a full item shop!! all these small mistakes costed them quite a bit haha!

        • Small in the big picture though.
And think of all the money they are saving by having us do all the user testing.
We're finding holes in the system they never might have plugged otherwise.
