Anonymous time for some real sneaky flybuys tricks!
I registered a card a loooooong time ago and as a joke just made it the name of the business that accepts flybuys (think calling your card 'Z energy' or something as a laugh' but with all of the other details correct (i.e. my phone number ,email etc)
Well it turns out that a few people along the chain were using this account whenever a customer wanted the discounts but didnt have a card of their own. So I was able to claim a fair amount of flybuys points, I had north of a grand (6000+ points) available but didnt use anywhere near half of them!
Dont do this, it's a breach of their terms and conditions (obviously) and my account is now suspended (requires a call to unlock)
If at all you have a kiwisaver with BNZ, then can convert the points to $$. Last time when I saw it was 108 points for $20 into kiwisaver. Next best thing was to get New World gift cards which I think you might need to wait until next Christmas.
Depends on if you need/want anything? I usually spoil myself and buy booze that I would not buy just to try something different and gift vouchers as emergency presents in case I forget a birthday…
Maybe convert to fuel rewards? 4 points converts to 3 cents per litre.
