Just like the Kogan deal, there doesn't actually seem to be anywhere to add the code at the moment for me. Hopefully will get fixed.

Also cant see anywhere obvious (to me) where to enter the code…

    • Go into your cart and in the bottom right is discount code

Discount box has just appeared and works for me..

  • Discount code box wasn't appearing before but seems to work now, bought one of those massage guns as a present, hopefully arrives before Christmas.

  • i ordered something from dick smith on 25/11 it didn't ship until 02/12 so that might have an impact on whether it arrives before christmas

  • Just bought this! Great deal for a portable bbq and gasmate brand:

  • I've been sucked into the Alexa world. Are their Kogan bulbs any good? Will be for lamps and lounge lights. E14 & E27.

I have the e14 smart ape ones, I believe as Kogan own mighty ape they are just rebadged boxes and identical.

Mine are good enough, I had one fail of the 4 I purchased but luckily the 4th was bought as a spare and mighty ape actually refunded all 4 bulbs when one failed.

They are just generic tuya bulbs though, I plugged them in and they worked with the grid connect app the arlec bulbs from Bunnings use so no need for another account.

Generally the only problem I'm having is my bedroom ones are right on the edge of the WiFi range so when we move soon I'll sort that with a router relocation to be more central. Working perfectly well with Google home integration though so I would imagine Alexa would be much the same. Can't really complain when they are $13 a pair.

This 50" QLED for $699 would be alright, comes with free shipping and $200 off.

  • Very useful, their normal shipping fees are beyond ridiculous - how can it be $23.99 to ship a pair of jandals?

I was going to buy a pixel from them but the shipping was $48, for a cellphone. They are charging on the shipping which is another scumbag practise of theirs.

I checked Amazon and the same phone cost me $200 less and the shipping was only $nz19 all the way from America.

Can we put dick out of business like we did last time please, these are two of the greasiest retailers in the country

I concur with this - their shipping prices are silly both in terms of price and charging per item when ordering multiple quantities

  • With free shipping their larger air fryers are fairly comparable in price to Kmart ones. (The 3.2L Anko which was "slammed in latest Choice review" is still quite a bit cheaper than the cheapest Kogan though.) But although I assume these are the same in NZ and Australia seems hard to find any real comparison, even basic stuff like how easy they are to clean. There's one article on the best air fryers in Australia from New Idea which seems to consist of someone posting minor details from the specs and online reviews.

    • If only we had a large enough population for a youtuber to make enough money to just buy them all and do a fair review and comparison.
