Shove it in your duck, chicken, cow, fish.. whatever takes your fancy to throw on the BBQ and using the app on your phone get real-time information of the internal temperature of your meat along with guidance on how long is left for cooking.
This has been my saviour when letting the other half control the grill, no longer does she serve me leather - I can now see from the comfort of my chair when my steak is about to be ruined and save it from sacrilege.
You may think “what! How much for a thermometer??”.. but do a little research and if you are a true geek you will have forgotten the price (which with 20% off is the best price I have seen these sold at) and be eagerly watching the parcel tracking progress of your order.
These are really junk in reality. Returned twice because they stop charging altogether, it's very flimsily constructed, and very much a gimmick compared to any commercial quick read thermometer. Mine sits in the drawer because I can't be arsed doing the whole return process only to get another disposable piece of junk. If you think 150$ sounds stupid for a cooking thermometer, congratualtions, you are probably a scrupulous person.
