I've got a VA3M and looked at the 945 but ended up with the Venu 2 for $449.10. A little bit cheaper but with the gorgeous oled display and latest gen chips (GPS, HR, Oxygen etc…). I do miss out on some of the mapping features and specialist running stats of the 945 as a tradeoff though.
Love this watch, bought one last November at a similar price point. Main selling point being the ability to create and sync map routes from Strava to the watch and have it give you turn by turn directions as you're out running/on a trail.

For a running watch I think I the Garmin 945 or 245 with music are better options for a bit less. I bought the 245 last week during their Singles day sale for $283.
