It's OK value, but in compute power it works out about the same value per dollar as the 3060. They both pay for themselves in about nine months minus electricity, so over a 2yr period you'd get about $3,000 profit from the 3080 ($5,500 mined minus $1,888 minus electricity). This is the kind of calculation that is driving GPU prices right now.
Or you could just, IDK, play games with it…

Yep. It's about 30% less capable in that respect than an older non-LHR card.
GeForceNow is $20 per month so almost 4years for the cost of the card
$920 for a 3060 lol, don't think it's a good value, for 3060, you can get it for $8XX.

I thought the RRP for a 3060 was under $600. This is just a store that used to be PB Tech branch gouging a little bit less than it was last week.
