    Current generation in market is 11th gen which came out 2 or 3 months back.

      8th, which is when Intel responded to Zen and boosted core counts across the board. HP Elitebook/Probook Gen 5 and Dell Latitude xx90.

      8-11 don't have much in the way of differences, but 12 (the new one coming) is getting a huge jump in IPC and their new big.Little design across the board.
