    wow, interesting concept

    • Yeah right?

Pretty common in countries where labour is cheap and populations are packed together (so they only need to service a relatively small area), but can they really make make a profit in NZ? Even in Auckland?

yeah we used to have this back in my home country. A dude would wash, iron and fold our clothes and bring it back. Super cool.

In terms of profitability, you're right. I wonder how they're doing it. If they charge too much, barely anyone will sign up. So their margins must be thin.

Maybe its like the TV show breaking bad, where they use it as a front to launder money haha. It would be so fitting since its a laundry service :D

Honestly best of luck to them. Would have given them a try but i'm outside their zone.

    • It's a great idea in theory, and I can see the potential, that's why I'm interested. But honestly can't see how it can be profitable with pickup and delivery.

    • Wow that serviced area is massive.

  • Cool service but how do stop a family of five to sign up to 1-2 person plan?

    • Its irrelevant, its just another word for number of bags, on that plan you get one bag. On the 5 person plan you get 3.

The question I cant seem to understand is how much can you fit in the bag? Are dimensions anywhere? Do you cram shit in or what - I see they say they dont weigh it.

      • $29 is a 105l bag
        $39 is a 105l and 80l bag
        $49 is 2 x 105l bag

  • Very cheap - I drive for a drycleaner in Wellington/Hutt and our wash/dry/fold service is $35 (+$5 delivery). We're 24hr turnaround but there's not really a big market for this when laundromats are so much cheaper.

  • the laundry bag seems fairly good sized and enough to fit a weeks laundry and they don't seem to care about weight, watch from 23seconds into the clip

they don't do ironing for clothes but can do for bed sheets on request

  • Can you do it 2 weekly rather than weekly? Cheers.

    • Yes you can, just request it it in the notes and when a staff member call you back they will be able to assist you.
