Xiaomi Mi Body Composition Scale 2 $39.00 + Shipping / CC @ PBtech

60
SHIPPY21

The other version of their smart scale is on special today only $10 more
While it more measuring features, they're not necessarily accurate (you can google this easily) but if it helps you track something and keep it in mind to make you eat better and healthier and excercise more then $10 is trivial

Ps: recommend using your savings and buy rechargeable $16 for AAA 4pk with CSC codes

  • Just me or do you not see the deal price i.e. 39$ value reflected at checkout ? Still showing original price.

nah not just you, might not be active till like 9am? 🤷‍♂️
Usually pbtechs prices change just after midnight

But some stores have another change at around 9am (Noel Leeming is notorious for this, which is where you can take advantage of two deals or so stacking between that 12am-9am period)

      • Ah, probably true, which makes the ad seem a bit deceptive. Thanks for the context and sharing this deal OP!

  • Brought this same one for 28.99 from dicksmith while free shipping. Very happy with the purchase , using daily , must have

    • whoa didnt know it was that good. wil wait for DSE to do something like this again

  • As OP pointed out, don't trust these for accuracy. But I use mine daily for tracking trends and it does the job.

  • Still showing up as $69 for me right through to checkout

  • I have this one, very good. Keep me on the track.

  • It's updated now.

Hopefully my 2 cents is useful for some. Had this scale for over a year. It's great tool for 'tracking progress' but feel some of the other measurements should be taken with a pinch of salt. I went for an inbody scan to compare measurements with the scale and there was some disparity. I think it has to do with the method of these types of devices. The small current doesn't go past the waist so it extrapolates the rest. If you have problems with pairing pull the batteries in and out. Lastly, if you don't feel comfortable having you data farmed by the mi app there is an open source openscale app guis not as polished.

    • how do you think about openscale so far cause it hasn't been updated for about 10months? do you go for the pro version? i'm a bit hesitate to use the original app so would love to hear your feedback

I just starting using it after the connectivity issues with the mi app. Perhaps doesn't look as nice as but tracks the same metrics. Got it from here https://f-droid.org/en/packages/com.health.openscale/ and works nicely so far.

        • Thanks mate 😊 just got the scale this morning surprisingly. Can wait to use it now

Where did you go for the inbody scan? I've been keen to find a good/reasonably priced place that does this.

  • I'm in akl but there's a few places that can do them. Its a lot cheaper than dexa and accurate enough for my purposes. Realise this is 'cheapies' but for memory was $45. I went though http://www.vitalbodyscan.co.nz/, really nice guy DJ. He visits different gyms usually but will be different atm. Scan is pretty straight forward, the value is in the analysis.
