Here's the Borges website if you want to check out the different flavours and what to do with em.

  • Yeah might be regional. Doesn't work in chch. Its unavailable. But thanks. 😊

Christchurch Colombo Street has them for 1 dollar. Not as many anymore because I just bought 9 bottles (sorry guys but 5 dollars for a litre is a great price).
      Thanks for posting this deal!

I've tried some of these when they were $4 and they exceeded all expectations, will be stocking up again

"Industrial Edible Oil" it says on the back… no thanks 😂

    • Their "scents" sound like something I'd put in my cooking. Oh wait, this is for cooking?!

I've been using the Borges Aromatics Garlic Oil in my oil diffuser in my bedroom at night. Works great, keeps the vampires away!

Just the company name, I suppose you avoid these as well?

I'd buy that for a dollar.

Thanks just picked some up from my local. Did not have any clearance sign up, just the regular $8 price tag, however did scan in as $1.

The ones I checked the other day had best before dates for next month, so perhaps that's the reason for the discount. BB isn't something I'd worry about for oil though.

Countdown was also clearing out several types of mayonnaise and aioli for $1, so have a look around at your local.

      New Lynn Store:
Macro Whole Egg Certified Organic Mayonnaise -$1 - 440gms - BB 14th Sept, 2021 (organic sunflower oil)
      Duke's real Mayonnaise -$1 - 880gms - BB 25th Sept, 2021 (Soyabean oil)

BB date may differ from store to store.

  • Put in a pickup order for tonight (at 0700h this morning) - unfortunately only a few supplied - I dont think they pick until near order time which is useless if youre working day shift and pickup in evening.

    • +1

The time it's picked will depend on how busy they are, as a rule you can expect pick up orders until 10am or so to be picked the night before, at least that's what it's like at the store I work at. Fresh stuff like bread and deli etc is done early the next morning though.

  • Hi Everyone
Just wondered if the bottles were glass or plastic?
    Thank you Kate

    • glass

  • I picked some of these from Countdown Te Rapa, just note these are all short dated with BB Oct 2021
