  • Sweet, got gear need to get rid off

    • Me too. Good stuff

  • Anyone got a 1070 for sale 😄

    • My one sold a few months ago.

    • Need one too lol

  • Ps sell anything you want just list in computers category lol

    • Smart!

    • Hmmm but be aware if someone reports your listing you will get a warning and the listing removed. People do get annoyed with items clogging up incorrect categories. And you will likely get less exposure if your item is in the wrong category.

  • Also fyi for other times: "From 23 August, we’ll be changing the success fee cap for casual sellers. The maximum success fee will change from $249 to $349. "

Great I hope more people use Facebook and their local marketplace.

  • Nice Thanks!

  • Hmm is this targeted? Trying to list within the computers category, but it says a success fee will apply if item sold

    • There was no mention of being targeted in the email I got, but based on your comment looks like it possibly is. I’ll amend the post.

      • FYI: need to put [Targeted] in the title too

I talked to them through their chat portal.

"I've just had a look and it is for a select group of members only, but since you have a pretty great trading history so far, I'm happy to pop a note on your account so if you list anything in the computers category today and it sells this week we'll happily waive the success fee :-)"

signed up to post this comment, lol

    • Didn't work for me :(

"Thanks for waiting! I've had a look and can confirm we're currently running a promotion for listings in our computer category but this current promotion is for a select group of members only. Oftentimes we run different promotions for randomly selected members. If you're ever a part of any promotions, we'll pop through an email to your registered address directly to let you know"

      • Ouch, I had a couple of listings already up and pulled them last night to take advantage of this, got pretty angry with the withdraw listing fees. I contacted them about that earlier and they waived those fees and even credited my account $10 for being a good boy.

Looks like I might need to buy a lotto ticket, haha.

definitely not a random selection. They purposely choose the sellers who haven't sold a lot before or haven't used their success free promotions before. It's a marketing strategy. They milk people really hard with these successfees, regardless its their site and they can choose what to do so fair enough. would've liked to see them decrease the success fee with an increase in cost of a product being sold. You shouldnt be taking 8% off a $4000 and the same off a $1 sale.
