    Anyone gotten the refurbished nest hub?
    Whats the quality on it vs new

    Wanting to start getting into home automation, digital reminders etc etc

      Got a nest hub max a few months ago of one day at a bargain price of $117 because they got the price wrong I suppose discount included a $40 refund because they couldn't supply the correct power supply but the hub itself was like brand-new and came in original packaging. I received it last December and 100% happy.

    Currently PLEX doesn't work on these…
    They're still great though, USB C connector works with expansion docks (with power pass-through).

    I've got two of these Google chrome cast TVs and they are brilliant. They are licensed to use Apple TV if you're interested, You can use them on old TVs as they have the option of using the remote as a infrared or wireless to control your on off and volume.

    How practical/useful are these for who is getting into Apple's devices?
    I have an Amazon Fire Tv Stick Lite, which I'm hating, was thinking on getting something else. Was deciding to whether get an Apple TV in the future, or a Google Chromecast TV sooner. I already have a Sonos Beam which is compatible with google assistant, which I guess it's a good plus.

    How easy it is to use apple's devices with google chrome cast tv?

      No more difficult than an android phone. Just download the Google home app to recognise Google TV and all your Google devices will show up. All the apps like Netflix TV NZ Amazon etc cast except the Apple TV app.

    Does anyone know if these are licenced for Freeview and Sky Sport Now (i.e. for Olympics). Looking at these vs the Official Freeview / Dish TV SV11.
